17:55 - Nov. 04, 2008 so i need what i study to be meaningful to me as a whole person, not just my mind. i'm not interested in increasing what knowledge my mind can contain, and i'm not interested in which little letters someone can write behind my name. but i do want something which enriches what i'm already doing, which will continue to enrich what i'm doing and hope to do (teach at the university, or begin a music therapy program in another country). which this degree will. not only that, but it focuses on growth, and seems to intend to foster it in each of the students. what other kind of master's degree requires two meditation practicums? it's wonderful : ) and i'm very excited. i feel like i've found where i belong - every detail seems exactly in place, and i'm looking forward to it. very much.
