tango
astor piazzola tango. i met him to tango, partly. and hearing it playing in my home now i feel his physical absence like a weight in my chest. he's with me always, it's just that at times when the veil grows thin between now and then, i feel his arms around me as we dance... i can lose myself in it, just as i did then. a dream world of making dinner, watching films, making love on the floor in the dark summer heat... ah mon cheri, mon cheri, c'est toi, toi. je t'aime beaucoup, beaucoup. trop.
